Hello. My name is Savannah, and I love art. I mostly do graphic design stuff, but also some photography. I use GIMP mostly and I spend a lot of time randomly designing. Sometimes what I design turns out great and I post those here. Comments are appreciated.

Photoshop CS3

Thu Dec 3, 2009, 2:13 AM
So, I got Photoshop!I should be happy about this, but at the moment I am INCREDIBLY frustrated. I have been using GIMP for a long time now, and I have gotten very comfortable with it. GIMP is easy to use and has worked really well with all my previous projects.
However my brother has been bugging me forever to get photoshop, so I finally installed it (it took FOREVER) and decided to try it out a bit before I went to bed (its about 2:00 at that point, it really did take forever). After an hour or so of playing around with it and looking up online tutorials, I have gotten pretty much nowhere not to mention I cant even find the smear tool or whatever the Photoshop equivalent is (Using GIMP I rely heavily on the smear tool to do most of my projects so this is a big problem).
I figure most of my frustration is due to the fact that I am very new to Photoshop (being usto the interface in GIMP which is a lot easier to use) and also the fact that it is now 4:00 in the morning and I have been rather stressed lately over a good many other things. I think I shall now go vent my frustration by GIMPing something weird and strange, and leave the problem of tackling Photoshop for some time when I am more alert. Good Night Everyone.

(if anyone actually reads this photo comments or comments of any kind are greatly appreciated)

A star is born when gasses gather in the area.
It lives and shines brightly, giving light and warmth to all around it.
When time comes for it to die, it goes super nova, and explodes, and a new star is born from the remains.

A star is like a fart! XDD

Thanks for the fave!

I made some fractal renders in Apophysis and layered them in GIMP for that pic. Looking at your gallery, you'd prolly really dig messing with Apophysis, so I suggest you try it out. Check for version 2.08.
